maybe there should be a minimun age to be allowed to buy a car like 14-15 , so they can work on it or play with it for a bit but not too early in life .
The longer the car has been owned/insured without accidents, the cheaper the insurance becomes, so some parents start on the waiting list before the child has their licence.
It's also a huge nightmare for the courts when little johnny the drug dealer gets pulled over and convicted of DWI, but they can't confescate the car because it's owned by his mommy and she needs a Viper to get to bridge nights.
Why didn't the parents know he know about the car? Never mind, I think I know the answer pobably the same parents who drop their teenagers off at the main street to "go to the Library to study".
I hate being synical.
Old enough to break the law......old enough to go to jail.
