    Scarcasm.

Since all the politicians trips to Afghanistan were smagged by the left as pathetic media events, I thought I'd get a free kick in first.
Seriously, glad no serious injuries happened and the taliban again prove to be a big, pathetic waste of time.

A waste of time that is costing us billions a year... Alot of better ways we could spend our money. Like giving it back to us with more tax cuts.

Well that's one way to induct MacKay into our noble fraternity, that hits the deck when some-one yells "incoming". He now has a bit more credibility as Defence minister IMHO.

Hell when they were interviewing him....I thought I saw "the thousand yard stare".

Not a veteran but it's a start. I bet he will stand up a bit straighter on the 11th.

Taliban Jack and Dion should get shot at too.

Ya, it must be a real moral boost to see your clueless defence leader whisked away as the first sign of trouble. I wonder if they cleaned the shit out of his pants in the blackhawk or if they left him shitty until he got to saftey.

Hey, I agree with sasq. The man looked the part and has gone up a notch in my view. Nothing wrong with being scared in combat Donny.
It's a bit different than waving flags at the OPP on a blockade. That must be really scary.

You don't see the Indians waving the flags running from anyone now do you? Seems to me that its ya all thats scared...

But that is a good point. You start something that you can't finish and now you've gone and fucked yourselves again. You can't even resolve the domestic problems in Canada but we got troops all around the world trying to solve other people's problems.

That's because in these enlightened times we are no longer allowed, in Canada, to shoot armed hostiles.

Oh yeah. Waving flags at cops who can`t do anything is exactly the same as being shot at with a rocket by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

You are right, they "CAN"T DO ANYTHING". Same as Afghanistan. Two fights you can't win with force. Iraq is another.

Quagmire times 3. You are so mighty and righteous with your guns and tanks and police...
