The party hopes a new name will help end the confusion between it and the Liberal Party of Canada, with which it has no affiliation.

Confusion? You mean they think some people actually don't know the difference between Federal and Provincial? Yeesh.

If they're anything remotely like the conservatives in Alberta then the BC ones will also be totally united in their unique inability/unwillingness to govern anything at all in an effective, efficient, competent, and humane manner.

Or it a name that implies a strong ties to unions and social causes when it is anything but that. I guess wild rose was taken.

You have no idea how many Yanks/Canucks criticized the BC gov't for being leftist/Liberal scum when Gordon Campbell and Christie Clark were in power. Social Credit took over the Liberals ages ago and if you can fool them once, you can fool them twice.

    - Don't forget, we were the first to bring in a carbon tax ages ago, and as only commie faggot junkie enviro-nazis would even consider such a thing!
