Did a damn good job, did nothing to actually piss people off other than some extremists.
Interesting to see who throws their hat in the ring...

like Kevin Falcon who must be eating shit at the moment. And the Opposition thinking BC Liberals is too liberal and they better grasp a rope and change their name.

I had no major issues with the job Horgan did for BC. The last couple of years have been very challenging, mostly for reasons beyond his control, and I'm sorry to see him step down but it comes as no big surprise considering his health, which I think is worse than he has let on. I'm uncertain as to who should step up to replace him so it should be interesting to see if someone else shifts gears from the direction he was taking. We shall see.

Horgan was a centrist and a moderate. He was a steady hand we needed during the pandemic. He is the most popular premier in Canada for a reason. He had to be pushed into this job but he had the respect of both sides of the legislator. A rare feat. I feel that we were robbed by cancer but knowing it was a possibility he did work to widen the bench so I don't think there will be an abrupt drop in leadership. The opposition is still licking their wounds from the last election and are no where near ready for prime time. I think this is as much of a shock to them is it is for the rest of us. When he steps down I can see the ndp dropping the writ for 2023 to establish a new mandate.
