I'm actually surprised that there weren't more that were killed considering the high injuries.

How insane that people were being crushed by those further back from the stage. What a horrible situation to end up in. It's been a long time since I attended a concert where I was standing in front of the stage but there was no pushing or anything like like that shit.

Yeah it's surprising (and also a blessing) that more didn't die in the crush.

When crowds get really big, the dynamics can get really interesting. The crowd turns into a mass that is hard to contain once momentum gets going.

And with my limited experience with mosh pits, there's an unwritten code where you help people up if they fall and look out for one another. Mind you this was different, this was a rush of people to the front of the venue. Still.

On Reddit yesterday, just about every other post on the front page was a clip of some band or singer (fron Linkin Park to Lamb of Got to Adele) stopping their shows mid song to get help for someone in the audience.

Travis Scott did that only briefly, and then keep on encouraging people to rage.

He has a history of inciting crowds to do dumb shit.

Doubtful. Chris Brown is a well known POS and people still give him the time of day.

It'll do wonders for his street cred if he has a few confirmed bodies. :(

What a shitshow. Security was unprepared for this, but it is entirely possible they tried to speak up, and were just ignored.
