John McAfee Found Dead After Saying He Would Not Kill Himself

Sad news. We shouldn't remember him for the wild antics, or the murderer, or the hard core grifter he became in his later years. We should remember his early years and the determination to pre-load our PCs with the worst spyware imaginable, so that the only way to get rid of it was to wipe the drive and re-load it from scratch.

Peter Norton created better utilities. But he is forgotten because McAffee had better marketing.

The program that takes longer to uninstall itself than it does to format & reinstall Windows itself....
but I seem to remember it was Norton that cut off your Internet access the minute you didn't renew it...
