Deadly wildfires in heavily populated northwest Oregon were growing, with hundreds of thousands of people told to flee encroaching flames while residents to the south tearfully assessed their losses.

    Terrible situation there. Whole communities have been wiped out.

    Ten percent of the state�s population has been evacuated. In a state that largely doesn�t have to evacuate because of fires. One wonders how many awful shoes 2020 has left to drop. The Big One would be one brand for this year.
