    Really? REALLY?

How hard is it to keep animal and plants away from each other in packaging? How hard is it to wash your machines inbetween batches?

    Come on.

Probably some typical internal Canadian trade barrier nonsense where it's easier & cheaper to get get garbage toxic-waste peaches from the US than it is from BC. No wonder our allies don't trust us.

It's not about the produce, it's about food safety. Salmonella comes from animals. It's doesn't grow on peaches, or lettuce, or onions. It comes because you don't give your workers breaks and they have to shit near the fields and the produce gets contaminated. And the machines that sort the produce get contaminated because you didn't clean them.

Why I trust the guy with the truck on the side of the road rather over an international wholesale food distributor.

I've wanted to drive highway 97 to the 5 to the 3 and fill my truck up with all the beautiful produce and wine that BC has to offer for a couple years now.

    But, you know, 2020. :(
