The Canada-U.S. border has opened ever-so-slightly to asylum seekers under the new framework unveiled this week extending the historic shutdown of all but essential cross-border traffic.

Well, at least we now know what the priorities are for the current gov't during a pandemic. But on the plus side these people are being made to go through real "border crossings" and not just the ones hidden in the Quebec bush.
