The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday abruptly waived enforcement on a range of legally mandated public-health and environmental protections, saying industries could have trouble complying with them during the coronavirus pandemic.

I'm sure they think they need increased environmnetal pollution in order to cope with the effects of this virus, errr something something.

Pretty sure they altogether stopped enforcing their already abysmal environmental regulations back on January 20, 2017.

So you're finally admitting that people have an effect on air pollution.

^^ And of course, the solution is to pollute more in order to make up the gap.

Air quality has definitely improved. There are many satellite images demonstrating the reduction due to isolation.

I've always been on board with controlling air pollution.

I don't think carbon dioxide is pollution is all. Why? Do you? It's not toxic at any levels we can expect to encounter. It's the gas we exhale. And I'm not worried by the chicken little doomsayers preaching warmageddon out of the fear they'd like to induce over this benign gas. Gore and Greta don't scare me. So I think a carbon tax is stupid.

But as to actual pollution, yeah, let's deal with that.

No, this is not in error. A huge amount of Biohazard material is going to have be incinerated without special facilities to do so or else it will pile up in hospitals. Fuck the environmentalists, this shit has to be burned.

My own agency was trying to force a slow down of the construction of field hospitals for required plan review and in at least three cases our field inspectors were escorted off the property and legally trespassed by law enforcement.

This is not business as usual and anyone who thinks it is will at some point be fired, arrested, or shot by people who have their priorities in proper order.

That is a narrow section of the regulations, which could have been relaxed individually. Why then did they reduce protections for the Oil and Gas industry, for instance?

Truer words have never been spoken. The scam has to end or we'll all be up to our perky little tits in garbage one day. And that applies to ALL trash disposal, not just bio-waste from the current Covid situation.

But its not just a hall pass fir CO2, its a license to turn America into a toxic shithole and its probably here to stay long after the economy recovers and Coronavirus is a thing of the past
