Tensions between the Iranian government and the Revolutionary Guard spilled into the open on Monday as the president’s office accused the elite military force of misleading them over the accidental shooting down of a civilian airliner.

Remembering that the Revolutionary Guard is much like Himmler's 1940's SS, I can assure you who's going to win this fight and it isn't going to be some guy named Rouhani. I also seriously doubt the street protests, riots and accusations of wrong doing are making much of an impression on the brave warriors of Allah in the Guard.

Same thing was said about the riots and protests when the Sha was in power.
