It's misleading to blame the practice of straw purchasing on Hunters, or blame them for being victims of break ins.

I must have missed all the news stories about gang shootings in downtown Toronto that involved shotguns and rifles that once belonged to the devious hunters & farmers who are doing illegal weapon sales.

The last time I looked the illegal gun market was still >96% smuggled from the US and most of the once legal firearms that were used in crimes were stolen; and most of those were not restricted.

So really you have no real argument to make. I can't remember if there was an updated report but the one I saw was from 2015.
