Funny how the govt dickheads screaming about climate change just can't seem to stay out of their aircraft. G7 Summits, G20 Summits, climate conferences, vacations, etc.

But even if they take a solar powered boat to the conference, you still wouldn't listen to them.

Why did it get violent. It wasn't counter protesters that they were fighting. Where they trying to get into some area they were not allowed?

It's leftist scum, why would you need to ask ?

They got over the 'peace and love' hippy bullshit cover story years ago.

But they didn't. And your assumption only makes an ass out of you, not me.
Funny how govts have billions of dollars to invest in reviving 150 yr old and 5000 yr old semi-reliable power technology, yet somehow that damn video conferencing technology is just too far beyond our technological grasp.
Or, you know, since the UN is already involved in the whole climate thing anyway do all this climate shit through them since the countries that go to these climate junkets are in the UN anyway.

Barrack "I'm gonna personally save the climate myself" Obama just purchased property on Martha's Vineyard. Pretty weird place to buy a 4 million dollar mansion after you been screaming about sea-level rise. I guess Al Gore filled him in on the shtick.

Look man, I'm not saying humans don't negatively affect the environment. EVERYTHING we do does. I'm saying, if you're the kind of hypocritical asshole that repeatedly engages in activities that you loudly and repeatedly complain are killing the planet, well, that makes you a hypocritical asshole.
And notice how these "conferences" take place in nice spa or resort towns? Because nobody wants to go to Pittsburgh or Liverpool no matter the cause.

You want potentially sensitive government discussions involving 7 (or 20) of the most influential nations to happen over the internet?

Breaking news! The Wind was blowing thousands of years ago, and still is! The Sun was shining back then too!

You forgot to mention the bad weather. You guys always seem to forget there was even bad weather back then just as there is today. They just weren't blaming it on what some are now calling "Climate Change" is all.

Those hypocrites couldn't intelligently discuss a piss-up at a brewery and formulate a plan.
    Never mind sensitive data.

Regardless of your feelings about them, heads of state discussing virtually anything would be information that less than savoury people would want their hands on. Especially when they're as influential as the G7/20.

I got to go to the 1990 summit in Houston and aside from the doomsayers predicting that the USSR was soon going to win the Cold War the rest of the chatter was trite and inconsequential.

Best thing about the whole event was hearing Helmut Kohl cussing in German.

Still it just seems that this time it's like they didn't know what to do so they rushed the police or something so the could get beat up again. G7 & G20 traditions I guess.
