Oh noes. An ice sheet that didn't exist 1100 years ago might melt some more. What a disaster.
So, if it didn't exist 1100 years ago, why can they get 800,000 years of ice data from it?

It's funny, how things are moving down the predicted path of AGW; and the anti-science propagandists are flogging things to their minions that are so obviously false. It seems the further the science is backing itself up, the harder the lobbyists are trying to pretend the science doesn't exist and the harder the people fooled into believing it double down to maintain that delusion.
It's just so odd. But I definitely see how people like Mark Sargent maintain their following.

But there was the scare word "" in the title and the article was anxious to point out what would happen if all the ice in Greenland melted.
And 'OMG!" there was a heat wave in Europe!!! And this time it's a record. The sense I get from the CBC is "We're doomed."
What the CBC didn't tell us however is this:
It�s indeed possible that the warmer atmosphere today as compared to the 1980s may have made this heatwave slightly more intense. However, nobody knows for sure because heatwaves have always occurred; some are just worse than others. It�s summer.
While this heatwave is the latest poster child for the �ecological breakdown,� there is a natural explanation for this heatwave, as with all other weather events.

This natural process occurs with or without 415 parts per million (ppm) of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
