E. Division is saying sorry after an unfortunate incident during a live news conference where the RCMP were updating reporters on a double homicide that happened in northern BC earlier this week.

    Well recent polls had shown the McGruff the crime dog was a bit to scary for kids. So they were trying out MsKitty the sensitive investigator.

    Too true.

    The bigger question is why that app is installed on a police computer. And if they are using a phone to broadcast . . why? They can afford nice things. Use them!

    One would hope though that the fact this cat filter kicked in while the RCMP were updating reporters on a double homicide would at least be a little embarrassing to the force.
