My guess is that this is all a big mistake and these two were just a couple of contractors hired to remove tree stumps on Yonge street.

Maybe they were just getting ready to celebrate Canada's birthday and were getting a head start on the fireworks purchases.

And of course Goodale doing his usual "it's muslims so nothing to see here folks" routine.

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale said the arrests and charges are a local matter that concerns York police and there is no known connection to national security.

And yet York Regional Police said the investigation began last Thursday when they received information about a person being investigated by the United States Customs and Border Protection and the Canada Border Services Agency.

Oh yeah, sounds like a real local matter.

Maybe it was planted by the RCMP for nefarious reasons.
