The country that most pollutes Canada is Canada so in that context this makes sense.

What Bart said and also would like to see a per capita breakdown of that before Canada pats itself on the back...

What that graphic fails to tell you though; China used to accept plastic waste from all the other countries on the list. Now it doesn't.

I'm totally fine with this as long they replace them with substitutes, not just ban them like so many places in Vancouver did after that turtle video came out.

I've used A&W's paper straws, and while they only last about half an hour, they work just fine.

    See Tricks for this.

I have adopted the reusable metal straw, and I will never go back.

I just drink from the cup like a wild animal. Sans the straw.

As I've never insulted Bart in a pub I don't need a straw, however, my grand daughter did ask me to purchase a "straw cleaning brush" for her reusable straw.

Sorry, but no. I'm not about to carry a reusable straw, plate, fork, spoon, knife, chopsticks, etc. around all the time in case I happen to eat out.

It's up to the restaurant I eat to provide those utensils for me and do it in an environmentally responsible fashion.

    Cup?

I drink my Scotch straight from the bottle.
