Well the odds were against us but hey. We had one hell of a run and given the youthfullness of the team I'd say we'll be able to return the gold back to where it belongs in Beijing.
Great game. As an armchair coach I thought there was too much focus on short shifts by Canada's coach, and we ended up giving up that second goal on a shift change.
Shootout is always a toss-up. Loved those Lamoureux twins.
What a crock of shit!!! You will NEVER see the Stanley Cup final decided by a shoot out, so why should a Gold medal game have to end with one! As far as I'm concerned, let them play until the game winning goal is scored, I think it should be 5 on 5 but if they want to hurry it up, let them drop a player or two, anything is better than leaving it to the shoot out!
Only goes to show the ladies have done a great job making every other country improve to their level in the last 16 years.
The Canadian team is prettier.
The Canadian team isn't a bunch of lesbians.
