I don't find it has anything to do with left or right politics.
It's just generic holier than thou, self righteous, "I read one book, no blog, err umm, actually I watched one YouTube video and now I'm an expert�, �ignorant people are louder than intelligent ones", douchery.

Yeah, what did plants ever do to you! The only thing plants did wrong was getting a worse PR guy than animals. It's discrimination against the legless, and mouth-less!
