Calgary is expanding its use of beet juice as an anti-icing agent on roads.

Traditionally salt was used on roads. Putting brine on the roads mixed with beet juice and calling it "Beet Juice" doesn't instill a lot of confidence on my part. When your car rusts out maybe you can boil down and make borshch.
