And Jason Kenney is a douche for creating this fake news. If Albertans elect him Premier, they get what they deserve.

A potential voter can also sign a declaration they are a resident if they are accompanied by someone with proper identification who is on the list of electors. That person has to vouch for the potential voter by also signing a declaration.

    There is your loophole.
Busloads of dippers from BC incoming.

Not even a little. No Scrutineer will allow a busload of people to be vouched for. And they would still need valid ID.

More scaremongering, just like the UCP wants. Ddn't work for Harper, will fail for Kenney too.

    Yeah but not Alberta ID.
And no investigation will be made.

You can do it one resident for one busser, staggered throughout the day.

You're just upset because you think people won't do it. They will.
Because there is no reason to drop the residency requirement.

Yes, you still need utility receipts to prove you are a resident. That isn't changing. You can still be 'vouched' if you aren't on the electoral list, but you still have to prove you are a resident.

Other than the 2015 suggestion by the Chief Electoral Officer (appointed by Redford). Kenney doesn't like Mr. Resler since he made suggestions that 3rd party spending be tightened in the next election.

I'm not upset at all, I'm just doing what I always do, countering FUD with fact.

Vouching has always existed in Canada. No bus loads of vouchers yet though. Also the voucher and vouchee have to be at the same polling station where they both reside. There are not many voters in a single polling station to begin with so its not plausible to just sneak in bus loads of vouchees all claiming to have just moved into the neighbourhood. . I guess not being a Canadian citizen you have no comprehension of how our democracy works though.

I suppose if they have to manufacture false complaints then they must not have any real ones?

So a couple years ago someone on here posted a link where anyone could register to vote in Ontario and for lulz I did so. I even used my post office box in Sacramento as my address. I was expecting to get told to piss off.

And then I received a ballot. So I voted.

At no point was I asked if I was a Canadian citizen, resident, or even if I was a Leafs fan (I'm not).

So what the hell. I figure if people like yourself think it's racist and bigoted to verify who's voting in US elections then I should respect your values by voting Conservative in Ontario.

It's not ID they need to check, it's IQ.
