The CF-18 demonstration teams Canada 150 painted jet conducted a flyby over Percival Molson Stadium before kickoff at the Alouettes' homeopener last night, and it freaked out a whole bunch of Montrealers, renewing calls for an end to such air events.

But they are so very amazing to watch. I know it's been a lot of years but I really don't remember the noise being all that bad.

They can be quite loud, especially if you aren't expecting it.

    But yea Montreal, uptight much?

Typical Montreal. Then again every single stupid city in this stupid country is so overloaded with snowflakes now that these kinds of gutless complaints could have happened anywhere. This is who we are now. :|

    Love the article:

Peters's wife and two young children were on their way home during the flyby. He said the noise caused her to let go of the stroller with the 22-month-old inside, so she could move over and protect the three-year-old. The stroller rolled away and hit a Bixi stand, then toppled over.

That family plays favorites and doesn't mess around pretending otherwise!
