Politicians don't do nearly the same amount of damage as these 'Sciency Journals' do for the credibility of Science. There is a huge credibility gap out there, fueled by these rags that pretend to be peer reviewed journals. That leads to a reproducability gap, that calls Science itself into question.

Highlighted by the fact that they have Fido peer reviewing medical articles.

If you get your article into some place like JAMA, or AAAS, then it means something. Publishing in 'Maw and Paw's Book of Ciphering' just doesn't have the same prestige, but it's a much lower bar to hurdle to get your name out there.

I guess if a baby can be an admiral then a dog can sit on an editorial board. Give me a good reason that a dog can't sit on an editorial board. See, I knew it, no one can give me even one good reason that a dog can't sit on an editorial board because there are no good reasons that a dog can't sit on an editorial board. Or run a mega-church. Or win the lottery. Or be President of the United States of America. And tomorrow's editorial? An important discussion for our times on what makes a good dog so good.

It's also inappropriate for a peer review report to have the corners chewed off and slobber stains. ;)
