They should allow refugees to make a declaration for refugee status to the CBSA at the official border crossing. The current system doesn't allow that so you have these risky midnight runs through farmers fields.

A few of these signs posted in the fields might slow the illegals down.

It won't, they will just make the kids walk first.

And then what, politely wait at the border for their claim to be assessed ? Not going to happen.

Oh, let's let them walk in, and get all the gibs while they wait. That's better for you.

    First there was one.

    Then two.

Then 8, and now we hear about 3 main crossing points in Canada.

Now it's 16, and another report of 22 in Manitoba.

You can be sure the government will never release the information about how many
    are crossing illegally into Canada.

The first illegal that has a deportation order in the US that gets asylum in Canada,

and that's it, it will look like Europe.

The only way to stop this is automatically repatriate every one of them back to the USA,
    no questions asked.

And we all know that's not going to happen.

"Sometimes when you're left with no options and you're looking for a better life for yourself, people do take risks," said Mohamud Noor, executive director of the Confederation of Somali Community in Minnesota.

A better life does not qualify you as a refugee. And illegally crossing the border should never be rewarded.

"We know a lot of good things about Canadian people," said Mahamed Cali, who runs a local Somali-language radio station. "We like the prime minister of Canada, his generosity, and also Canadian people, how they open arms for everybody."

His generosity, paid for by Canadian taxpayers. Nice country shopping going on.

Lawyers with local not-for-profits began have begun holding free weekly legal clinics at a community centre in a neighbourhood just outside downtown that has a big Somali population. An interfaith coalition is opening up places of worship as sanctuaries.

Abdinasir Abdulahi, an immigration lawyer in Minneapolis, said there was interest in Canada as an alternative before Trump's inauguration, and it has only picked up since then.

    Which means they are organizing.

    Just like Europe.

    The difference between this:

and the pic below, is just one of time until opportunity.

    Trudeau is Merkel.

A municipal authority in Manitoba, Canada is concerned about the influx of dozens of asylum seekers who showed up to border town of Emerson Sunday morning.

Im scared, the bigger the numbers if we dont have enough officials, someone is going to slip through the crack because theres so many people to process, Reeve Greg Janzen, a municipal authority, told CBC News.

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/ ... -1.3988352

The illegal refugees are crossing over form North Dakota and are being processed at the remote prairie town with minimal investigation by Canada Border Service Agency officials.

Janzen said the small town of 671 residents portrayed by the Canadian media as mostly supportive of the illegals has become restive because of the increasing numbers and the frequency of the border violations.
