Now we see if the Judge gives this waste of skin 3 concurrent or consecutive life terms.
Any indication why he killed them?
Revenge. He had business dealing with the Grandfather many years ago. That festered, and he eventually decided to kill the guy. His wife and grandson were just in the way, so he killed them too.

I understand holding a grudge but to take it that far.... WTF is wrong with people. There are 2 people from my past I will never be friendly with and will hardly be cordial to if we meet. But to go and do what he did. Faith in humanity is not a good thing.

Yes it is. Dirtbags like this are rare. People are generally good. That hasn't changed.
This guy planned this for years. If he could only have realized the reason the business dealings fell through was because he's a douchebag, things could have de-escilated.
