Nice idea but there are a few problems with this.

1) Most people who buy bear spray don't actually know how to use it.

2)For those who do, by the time a bear gets close enough to you for the spray to be effective, odds are incredibly good that you're already kibbles.

Better than nothing though, I suppose. It's a small step, but a step nonetheless.

It was by request of the Bears. They found the humans traveling into the back country lately were a little bland.

What? No little bells?

People who go into the back country with bear spray should also wear those little bells like you see around Christmas time. That way when the rangers come across piles of poop with bells in them they'll have a better idea of what bear ate you.

Don't forget to put a name tag on those little bells. Makes it WAY easier for the rangers to inform the next of kin... :twisted:
