$1:
The victim was no longer there when police arrived, but was found shortly afrter behind a restaurant in the 1000 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

So that's what all the noise was Wednesday night. There was yellow tape that I had to walk around to get to Tim Hortons.

I'm soooooooo excited to be getting the hell out of this neighbourhood.

Yeah Notre Dame in and around Health Sciences can be very dodgy. I knew a physician who jogged to work that got thumped on the head and robbed at 7am. You'd think the vandals would be on a shift change at that time of the morning. 8O

I guess I'm lucky that I've lived here 6 years, and never had a break in, nothing stolen, never been attacked. Always had terrific neighbours. The kids spray painted my garage once, but the graffiti hotline took care of that really quick.

The first year I lived here I got woken up at 3AM to two people beating another with a hammer in my back lane. I called 911, but nobody showed up until the next day. They didn't even want to see the hammer that was still lying on the ground out there.

It'll be much more peaceful in Oak Bluff though I hope.
