So there was an election just this week, but a special election next week? Can't they be combined?

The election this week was federal, this is a provincial bye election. The former Premier of BC resigned leaving his seat in the provincial legislature open. The new Premier has to be an elected member to sit in the legislature so there is an election for the vacated seat.

They could catch Christie Clark working in a massage parlour and she'd be elected. Why's she want to bother with debates for.
