Yep, he said some sensible things. Hope he's not being coy. As he says, it's about building the party from the ground up, not getting a new leader. I hope they do, because the Liberal have always felt like my natural political home. Didn't stop me from bitching when they were in power tho.

He might work, as long as he goes through a leadership convention and is chosen like previous leaders, and not parachuted into the leadership role like Ignatief was.

The shame is that people assume that, because his dad was a genius and a great leader, he will be too. Justin is a moron who, if not for his name, would be bagging groceries at the Foodway.

And that appears to be most of what is behind the push by some people to make him leader. In the interview he himself stated he may not be the person the Liberal party needs right now. Maybe in 10 years when he has gained more experience he might be ready, but if he became leader now people would expect miracles that are almost impossible for Justin to deliver. The party needs to reconnect to the voters first. They have four years to become the party of the middle again. When Canadians see them as the middle road between left and right they will once more have wide spread support.
