Regina Regina: diggerdick diggerdick: It is funny how you rightwing red necks try to justify corruption.......another day another BAD police headline Did you miss my question or did you not understand it? The 'question' was answered in the original article $1: Const. Harinderpal Mamak was found guilty in September 2009 of breach of confidence and insubordination in connection with an incident in which police say he illegally used the Canadian Police Information Centre.

Regina Regina: diggerdick diggerdick: It is funny how you rightwing red necks try to justify corruption.......another day another BAD police headline Did you miss my question or did you not understand it? Well, we could start with aiding and abetting a criminal operation. Obstruction of justice. Interfering with a police investigation. Probably more, but I havent finished my coffee yet. Maybe you boys should go back and read the article again. Your able bodied policeman Harinderpal looked up a plate of a TO car. He then told his buddies, the East Indian gangsters in Toronto, that yes it was a cop car following them around. So much for police loyalty, or loyalty to the Crown for that matter. He should be sitting in cell; instead, he's been sitting at home for the last 3 years........ with pay Nice... While, yes, DD is a one-trick pony, he is at least pointing these things out. And remember boys and girls, these are still the ones stupid enough to get caught.

I mean if you can't believe the police to put out accurate information, who can you trust? That's what the rah rah police people on this forum don't seem to get. It's a good thing that at least some people want to watch the police closely, they have a lot of power, and with that comes the potential for abuse. As least in this case, the police themselves dealt with it, it didn't take a video to surface to say bullshit to their spin as so often happens.

But that's the thing, Andy, they arent dealing with it. The guy openly screws around with a police investigation into people running heroin and weapons. Nice citizens they are. If he resigns, i'm sure part of that deal includes no criminal charges, so Harinderpal walks away from it, with 3 years salary as a bonus. If he appeals, and I'm sure he will, it will take another 3-4 years to sort anything, while he continues to get paid..and then probably be reinstated, cause anything else would be racist. I would like to see any of us get a deal like this..

There is another case of an Ottawa officer misusing CPIC to run his parents neighbors for dirt and I somehow got the two confused. IF the guy tipped off gangsters he should face criminal charges as well, likely on one of the charges listed in the quote above. Not sure why this guy would want his job back, I can't imagine being a cop and willfully selling other cops out to gangsters, putting their lives in danger, and then feel cozy riding a shift with them in the future.

I'm generally pro-police and give them a lot of lee way, in this case however that isn't possible. I hate seeing any policeman's career end like that, except he probably might have been able to get treatment at some point and kept his career.

I didn't know there was a treatment for being a gangster, except may going to jail or being shot by another gangster.

You've seem to revert into liberal thought when it serves you, normally you'd be hell bent for leather for tougher sentences on criminals, but now that the the criminal is a cop it's all 'touchy-feely' time is it?
