There are a number of American (my wife included) who look on Obama as "The Dear Leader". After you reach for your favorite anti-nausia medication you lean to ignore it.

The realization that Obama while being a decient guy, is not Merlin the grand wizard that many had once thought of him is beginning to sink in.
