The link only seems to work sometimes. Just click on the header under CKA and it will come up.

$1:
PARIS — Nearly every adult in Scotland is burdened with at least one major lifestyle risk factor, and 55 percent of the population are coping with three or more, according to a study released Friday.

Another version of this article said that only England and the US came close to Scotland.

There is a Scottish comedian who notes that Scottish food has been declared the least healthy the world. He notes that some African countries have no food. "Just how bad does Scottish food have to be, to be worse than no food?"

That's what happens when you deep fry everything. Still remember my first day in Scotland getting something to eat. Everything looked unappetizing so I ordered a personal sized pizza only to watch them throw it in the fryer. 8O

I dunno, it's not really THAT bad. I've been to Scotland many times and I have no issues with the food. But, much like anyplace else, it all depends on where you eat.

I love my Scottish heritage, EXCEPT for the food, it is ghastly !(for the most part).
