I thought this was going to be an "Onion News" story when I read the headline. Some stories are just TOO ridiculous.

OMFG, and nobody thinks that "guide" was misheard for "gay"? Holy shit. I don't know who I am more pissed at. The blind guy for not understanding that there might just have been a language barrier, or the restaurant owners for not speaking English correctly, or even not caring about "gay dogs".

I guess it just goes to prove that reality can be more ridiculous than anyone could ever come up with.

$1:
"The staff genuinely believed that Nudge was an ordinary pet dog which had been desexed to become a gay dog," a statement from the hearing said.
And now for all you gentlemen that had vasectomies in the 90's.

If it was a gay dog, the speciesist laws that only protect humans would prevent him from filing a human rights complaint for homophobia. We have a log way to go to prevent all discrimination. Why should gay dogs be freely discriminated against.
The people at the restaurant just didn't want to admit a guide dog, and tried to take refuge in the old "me no speaka da Engrish" ploy.

10 years from now the term "stupid" in the dictionary will be defined by this story.

I think the people at Oxford and Collins are quickly scrambling to change the definition now.

My dog is not gay but he is very happy and friendly. Would he be welcomed?
