And that's why S.1 of the Charter is a disclaimer that there are limits to everything in the Charter.

It's not a fucking right, it's only things that they want. Let's tell that "to kill" is my religion, so I would kill people because of it.

That is why we need to live in a secular state where while should
be free exercise of religion these kind on BS can be labeled as
the barbarity that they are. S.1 is a very entry that there are limits
to Charter rights. The religious idiot's rights end where somebody
else's liberties begin.

We just have to make a border between "religion necessary" and society principals, We need new laws in that way.

“The COU offers no insight or answers into the existential questions (of) ‘ultimate concern’ which are the chief domain of religion; offers no comprehensive system of belief by which to live and offers no moral or ethical code,” federal Crowns Nicholas Devlin and Donna Polgar say in written submissions.

I guess they were just too stoned to come up with something, but it's not that hard:

Why are we here? God put us here to smoke the sacred herb that we may celebrate his existence.

How should we live? Stock up on Dorritos and Oreos, make sure your cable is in good working order and just chill, man.

What is our moral code: Don't bogart that joint. For further instruction, see Grace Slick's Book of Radical Dos and Dont's.

As for selling dope, "it don't grow on trees, man."

Seems to me this religion is more harmless than most, and the world would be a better place of more people followed it instead of those nutbar middle eastern ones - all three of them.

$1:
The Bobo Shanti are a self-sufficient group that make and sell straw hats and brooms to support the community and grow their own produce. The members of this order do not smoke marijuana in public as it is only reserved for worship among members.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rastafari_movement

$1:
According to some Rastafari[22] and other scholars, the etymology of the word "cannabis" and similar terms in all the languages of the Near East may be traced to the Hebrew "qaneh bosm" קנה-בשם, which is one of the herbs God commanded Moses to include in his preparation of sacred anointing perfume in Exodus 30:23; the Hebrew term also appears in Isaiah 43:24; Jeremiah 6:20; Ezekiel 27:19; and Song of Songs 4:14. Deuterocanonical and canonical references to the patriarchs Adam, Noah, Abraham and Moses "burning incense before the Lord" are also applied, and many Rastas today refer to cannabis by the term "ishence" — a slightly changed form of the English word "incense". It is also said that cannabis was the first plant to grow on King Solomon's grave.

In 1998, then-Attorney General of the United States Janet Reno, gave a legal opinion that Rastafari do not have the religious right to smoke ganjah in violation of the United States' drug laws. The position is the same in the United Kingdom, where, in the Court of Appeal case of R. v. Taylor [2002] 1 Cr. App. R. 37, it was held that the UK's prohibition on cannabis use did not contravene the right to freedom of religion conferred under the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

On January 2, 1991, at an international airport in his homeland of Guam, Ras Iyah Ben Makahna (Benny Guerrero) was arrested for possession and importation of marijuana and seeds. He was charged with importation of a controlled substance. The case was heard by the US 9th Circuit Court November 2001, and in May 2002 the court had decided that the practice of Rastafari sanctions the smoking of marijuana, but nowhere does the religion sanction the importation of marijuana. Guerrero's lawyer Graham Boyd pointed out the court's ruling was "equivalent to saying wine is a necessary sacrament for some Christians but you have to grow your own grapes."[23]

In July 2008, however, the Italian Supreme Court ruled that Rastafari may be allowed to possess greater amounts of cannabis legally, owing to its use by them as a sacrament.[24][25]

These stoners should just convert to Bobo Ashantis, it will make their lives easier. They can actually appeal.

“It offers only marijuana — however and wherever individuals want it.”

To be serious, THIS is the sentence that boggles my mind. You can't smoke cigarettes however and whereever you want, you cant drink wine however and whereever you want. WHY would anyone smoke pot in MY house because THEY want it? Sorry, aint buying it.

I don't care if you want to smoke pot among peers, in your own house. But not in a public place, at work, or anywhere else where it disturbs other people.
