This is exactly why the JSS should have been a priority. One of those ships, sitting off the coast of Haiti could have done a lot of good.

I'm not trying to be partisan, but this would be an excellent way to use them in peacetime. Even if Harper had ordered them right after he got into office, they still might not be ready, but this is a lesson in forethought.

Yea considering the docks there are out of commission the cranes are screwed and are not able to accept ships. Never mind the road out of the Harbour

Yeah, what good are four helos, a command centre, a small medical/dental facility (including an operating room), ten thousand+ tons of fuel, and 1000+ tons of cargo space good for, along with RO-RO / Lo-LO capabilities? :roll:

Give your head a shake man. While it might not be as good as Tarawa-class ship, it'd be great for helping with the efforts in Haiti.
