The first sentence is not.
The second is obvious, right? Pakistani muslim in NYC... I don't think that is a good combination at all...
He obviously turned out to be someone else than he posed to be when he was in Pakistan. Then a devout muslim woman is taken to a city like NY. He wants her to live the NYC life, and she doesn't want that at all, is depressed and gets confused. Only sees one way out.
Why would the taxpayer have to pay for her time behind bars if you can send her back?
