What I want to know is this; the Sea King is, according to the CF, an integral part of the Halifax class frigate weapons system.

Why was one not aboard? None available? All in pieces? Not enough duct tape?

Don't refits take place in a dock?

EDIT: NVM, I get it.

I do find it rather "stupid" to have a ship refit for a helicopter we do not yet have rendering it unable to carry the aircraft we do have in inventory.

My POV is we should have had a helicopter onboard to carry the sailor, if not to shore to another ship.
