damn, stokes, go and edit the headline, it a bit screwy :)

Prostitution should be legalized, the North American Puritan kick is getting a little old.

Sorry didnt realize til after I posted that CNN attached a bunch of BS to it.

Agreed, women sell sex, all women. How many married men have done something they didnt want because the wife promised sex??? My ex was really good at it, it was her way of getting out of housework, my new wife uses it to get me to shave everyday.....lol

Prostitution is totally legal. Just open a newspaper in the classified ads there are tons of escorts.

That's not technically legal.

If police can prove that an escort offers sex in return for money, the escort can be charged. The difference is that the police in a lot of other cities look the other way, as those cities charge an annual 'escort fee' ($1500 in Edmonton I think) to ply their services.

Most cities simply prefer to keep the sex hidden (in massage parlours, escort services and so on) instead of having hookers standing on street corners downtown.

Soliciting is a crime. Prostitution is legal. If a girl is standing on a corner waiting for a client, she's not commiting any crime. Asking people to have sex with her is a crime tho.

Out of sight, out of mind. That's why the escort services survive. So long as they don't actually mention sex they can argue they are simply a dating service. What the couple decide to do when they meet, well, that's up to them.
