It seems to me that the hand signal was proper...

Now...had he been trying to indicate a left turn by flipping the bird, then I would consider that improper. I believe his intent was to tell the cop to go fuck herself, making his hand signal the proper one.

Pretty clever "improper hand signal". Of course if she just wanted the person to waste their time showing up to fight it, then it will likely backfire because she'll need to be there to defend the speeding charge. If she doesn't then he'll get the last laugh as he can get both tickets dismissed because they won't split them charges to different dates.

What a moron, he deserves the ticket. Next time don't speed 35 over the limit and you won't have to worry about being pulled over. I hope he does fight the ticket so he can exlpain how he got the ticket to a judge. Who do you think the judge will sympathize with?

Cops do deserve respect because they are the ones putting their lives on the line for us everyday, where as the guy speeding is putting other peoples lives on the line.

As far as respect goes, sometimes it needs to be earned. Allow me to relate something that happened a while ago. The police were at my house one day asking about an occurrence that happened across the street. (I was not involved in it)
Anyway, after getting my name he kept referring to me by my first name. So in response, I referred to him by HIS given name. This pissed him right off and he promptly informed me his name was "Constable Clements"!! I told him as long as he was going to call me by name, I would return the favour. He actually gave up asking about the incident he came for and stomped off to his cruiser. It was pretty funny in a pathetic way.

I believe some cops do deserve respect..... But you can take you hero worship , lives on the line for us everyday BULL and feed it to a 10 year old child....not adults who live in the real world..............................

No I don't think so, being smart enough to figure out how to give someone a ticket for flipping the bird makes her perfect for the job. The guy thought he was being cool flipping her the bird now he has a ticket for being stupid.
