We got our storm around 5pm. Coming home from Sylvan it was raining so hard and so much water on the road that you couldn’t see the lines. I had just pulled into my driveway when a flash of lightning went off that left me seeing stars for a few seconds, just like a welders flash. And then the thunder, holy f**k it was almost instantaneous.

We had whole trees down in Braeside from last night's storm, branches all over the neighborhood. Thunder woke me up about 2 am. The day before wasn't so bad for my neck of the city, just really windy around 7 pm for about 1/2 an hour, I didn't get any rain

Ever try taking pics of lightning? It's like herding cats.
This one of our power problems Saturday night. I guess Fortis didn't want to pay overtime to fix it so they just tied a truck on to it and will get to it when they can.
