I think we should let them go. As much as the job losses will hurt we can't be held hostage by money losing business.

Blackmail.
These Canadian plants are the most cost effective that Chrysler has so they better think very hard about shutting them down.

I may be from the states but I agree it is nothing but blackmail.
I wish my government would have had let them sink or swim and I own one of the things.

They want to bail on us because we won't give them our money to fix the problems they created and then screw over the workers as well? $20 pay cut, unbelievable... I say, make sure the door hits em on the way out... better yet... let them stand right on the step with their noses crossin the line.. WHAP! Sayanora

The workers and the unions have screwed themselves far worse than the companies have.

For the amount we're giving these jackals, we could afford to start our own company (selling just about anything) and we'd still probably be ahead.

Adios Chrysler...don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

They won't last another year on either side of the border, let them go and watch them fold. Nissan will gladly buy the Dodge Ram.

Magna should pick their scraps and start a canadian based manufacturer.

Good luck getting that factory out of Canada. I'm all for some special customs surcharges for these assholes.

They tried when Daimler Benz was selling Chrysler, but the US Venture Capitalists had bigger pockets.

Looks like Magna might be able to get a deal yet. ;) But D-B mostly gutted Chrysler when they left.
