Yes, it was. I loved how quickly they all jumped on the ass that threw the shoes and detained him.
They should have tasered him.

I wonder if they gave the guy back his shoes after they beat the crap out of him?

Well, like him or not, you can't attack a world leader.
It's certainly not the smartest thing to do.

Shows how things have changed from Saddam's time. If this guy dared to do that to Saddam, he and his family would be dead by now. Heh. PROGRESS!
Anyway, it seems that Bush honestly doesn't care. I remember when he visited Halifax and discussed the hand gestures too. Pretty laid back, I'd say...I'd be fuming pissed if somebody tossed a shoe at me.
Also, I see Bush was probably a dodgeball champion back in grade 6.
Actually you see him trying to catch the second shoe in one of the clips

an Iraqi journalist. The CBC is now actively recruiting him to give him his own prime time show.

My opinion of Mr. Bush has really dropped because of the Financial Crisis... he's been standing around looking dumber than a fence post. However, my opinion just took a little up-tick.... he did a good job of dodging those flying shoes. Yes, he really does have some life in him!!!!
Just try to hit the Bush with a shoe... can't do it. He has a talent there.....
