"I'm concerned I have a prime minister who lies to the people of Canada and knows it," Broadbent said. "It's one thing to exaggerate. It's another to deliberately tell falsehoods." accurate..

It's all self-serving lies from Harper and the Conservatives - in the house, in the ads, on TV, anywhere. Certainly all politicians say one thing and do another, but this truly is an unprecedented display of, as Broadbent said, deliberate deception.

"No flags were present" was a metaphor for saying that the coalition did not have the blessing of the people or nation of Canada. It's a symbolic kind of thing, you big fat commie bastard. Sort of like the logo you borrowed for you're new badge:

Broadbent, Chretian, Parizeau, eye of toad, ear of bat, a whisper of Dragons breath, stir well and reap a witches brew worthy of defeating Harry Potter.

To bad a fiction novel is all the "coalition" have.

Here we see the inevitable death of the Liberal party.

If you want to cast a spell, make sure the ingredients are pure, do not add Bloc poison, the brew will quickly turn into sour vinegar.
