I find it humorous that during the election the Libs were all over the NDP for how terrible their economic plan was. Now, six weeks later, he we are and they are willing to topple to Cons for their economic plan and feel the NDP are now good enough to form a coalition with. Using the Bloc to boot.

It is absolutely ridiculous as far as I am concerned. Do they really think the Bloc won't start making demands at some point down the road? Simply one of the worst ideas I have heard in a while.

A coalition would be fine, if they had campaigned on it. But they didn't, and they lost. If they want to topple the government do it and lets go back to the polls.

An economic update that said "we're gonna do squat for the economy until February, but we're gonna take away the Liberals' lifeline and public secror employees' right to strike at the first opportunity" would also have been fine if they had campaigned on it, but they didn't.

I actually have a question now. What happens with Dion and his resignation since he will supposedly be the PM? Does the search for a new leader get put on hold? Or will this unelected body get even worse by changing leaders part way through?

I'm sure Dion will change his mind about leaving, he's pretty good at that..

Then bring it down and lets go to the polls. Instead they want to make a mockery of the Canadian political system.

I was all good to wait until February because it was better to get a better idea of the situation first then to throw money at it that would end up being wasted. Canada is one nation that could afford to wait a little since it is doing better compared to other nations.

And that money wouldnt have been so important if their supporters were willing to actually provide them with funding. Is it the Conservatives fault that they are broke? I think you are fogetting that it also would have removed 1/3 of the Conservatives revenue as well. But cuts have to be made somewhere if we are going to get through this.

Harper's been making a mockery of our political system for about a year now, it's about time he was punted.

But why should we go to the polls when we just elected a new house? Harper had his shot and he blew it. We've got a whole other group of MPs willing to do their jobs and look out for the country rather than spin the biggest issue of the day into a cynical ploy to strip away the funding base of their opponents.

Saxon Saxon:
Canadians will NEVER forget this act of treason by the Liberals/NDP/Bloc Quebecois. I most certainly shall not. I shall remember these moments as I gain power for my National Socialists.

The only power "your" National Socialists are going to gain is the Galactica, Cylon-Boy! You rock your World of Warcraft and we'll deal with this. Play time is over, Lucy.
