Mmm, I wonder why Ottawa was not listed in the list at the bottom. Maybe not to piss people off? Gas is 89.9 cents in some places - I really don't get why our gas is much cheaper than the national average. ![huh? [huh]](./images/smilies/icon_scratch.gif)

rofl $0.99 a litre is 'down to earth'.
I was bitching about the high cost of gas when it was $0.539. $0.99 . . .$0.89 outrageous!
How far we have come, eh?

How far we have come, eh? Isn't that the truth. When I started driving gas hovered around .40 to .60 cents a liter. When It hit .90 I was disgusted. Now I would kill for some .90 cent gas.

RUEZ RUEZ: Maybe the oil companies think politicians won't bitch if they think it's that low everywhere. Yeah, that's my theory too How is that fair? There shouldn't be such a difference in price across the country.

Gas in Victoria is currently $1.179, looking at some of the other places on this list is making me sick. And just think our carbon tax is going up again in less than a year and it is only 2 1/2 cents a litre now, + Transit tax + GST + Road improvement fee + etc.

It hasn't been that cheap in ages. I think the petrol companies are resisting putting the rates under 1$.

The old boys network, they get a steady supply. Plus lots of people knew it was coming and stocked up. Your also talking about gravel truck drivers. No offence to any GT drivers meant either but.....I bet those guys arent gps'd and not paying for the fuel.

They're actually saving fuel that way by drafting.
