I am mainly worried about methane release from melting permafrost.

Nah, I think people know climate change is happening, and I don't think this report would have chnaged much. People right now want a government who will ignore climate change for them. Who wants to shell out money to deal wiht something like that when times are tough?

Later on, when the proverbial chickens come home to roost, Harper will be blamed for it, and we'll all conveniently forget that one of the reasons we voted him in was because we didn't want to hear about climate change. Plausible deniability.

The Innuit will welcome this news, then the fuel shortage they have had for 3 years may stop if the water stays open longer.

It's not about ignoring climate change. I'm waiting for someone with an actual idea that works. Green shift won't do it. I'd rather see some investment in clean technology that works and can be implemented quickly. Like why don't we put up solar panels on every new home built in Canada? Why are incandescent light bulbs still made? Why aren't we investing in auto fuels that we know are cleaner? Screw the green shaft let's do something that's going to make a difference.

Upset? No, I just think that small boys like yourself should be playing Halo 3 instead of posting utter shite in a grown-up forum.
Your stuff is just garbage.
