I feel sorry for them! I have one girl that is 20mos and she is a live-wire! I cannot imagine having 4 that age at the same time!

If they're all the same, why is knowing which one is which such a big deal?

If it were my kids, they'd be "the four babies" until they learned to talk and remember their own damned names.

It would be essential in the bonding between parent and child. Infants like consistancy. If you were to constantly call each one a different name or no name at all they would have a difficult time associating their name to themselves later. If they were unsure about why you were constantly calling them something different it might carry over into how they connect other words with objects. Babies are pretty damn smart and catch on to things at an early age, sometimes way before you think they should be able to.

You must be an only child. I'm 44, and I still answer to my sister's name... sometimes even one of my brothers' too.

Same here, and same with my dad and my grandmother - their names were all "ScottAlanBruce" and they turned out just fine!

both of my grandmothers are REALLY bad for that... I dont think they ever get to my name.. lol
