Amen, further, any; and I said any, province that puts it's eggs in one basket deserves the same ridicule. Alberta and Sask (with their new found oil) better take heed. Alberta has not had the socialist rot of other provinces' but the net product will be the same. The "one trick horse" economy is NOT a viable long term strategy for any part of Canada.

Ontario has by far the most diversified economy of any province.

Well obviously it is not diversified enough as all it took was a downturn in the manufacturing sector to take all the wind out of Ontario's sails.
