I think it's important to make an example of these idiots by throwing the legal book at them. Whether or not these guys were serious criminals is irrelevent as history has shown that it doens't take a great deal of intellect or organization to be an effective terrorist. While it can be argued that these twits had little or no chance to be successful----the same could be said of the 911 terrorists, if they had been interdicted prior.....no end of self appointed experts would have come forth to protest that the possibility of success was preposterous---high-jacking airliners with box-cutters---come on!

It'll be interesting to see what constitutional challenges the bomb-plotters make. I imagine a Garafoli challenge will be a natural, but they'll be pressed to say upon what grounds they'll base it.

Here's an interesting note though; for such tough little shits, they sure do want to hide from what they so rigourously planned, don't they? Doesn't it seem hypocritical? All this supposed glory they were going to achieve and now they're running like scared little bitches from it.
