Discipline is always appropriate when dealing with a child. Humiliation however is not.

but she didn't humiliate him... she didn't print his name or a photo or anything.. she just stated the reason WHY she was selling the car

in the trunk..

either way if he's a teenage he shouldn't have it in the first place cause isn't the legal age in Iowa 21????????

In Alberta it cant be in the driving compartment which is pretty well inside the vehicle anywhere.

You don't think that in the town they live this isn't full public knowledge? This isn't good parenting. Selling his car was a good decisions, making a public spectacle out of it was over the line.

All liquor or just open liquor? I think in BC it's fine to have in the vehicle as long as it hasn't been opened.
